OFFING is the musical/sound output of Chris Duncan, a visual artist and musician from Oakland, CA.
OFFING - and pretty much all of Duncan's work - is made from "the accumulation and repetition of simple gestures." The lush sounds on this cassette, created by looping and layering harmonica, tuning forks, and field recordings of the ocean and wind chimes, are live edits taken from performances at Kala Institute and axs festival. The results of which are stunningly beautiful drone zones.
